Charlotte Collier has served as the Head Track and field/ Cross Country Coach at Alpha Omega Academy since 2016. She began her career as a Heptathlete and participated in hurdles, multi events, jumps, and throws.  She represented Denmark on the National Team in both the junior and senior ranks at the European Cup, and international competitions for more than 10 years in both the shot put and the Hammerthrow.  She won the Danish National Championships, Scandinavian Championships, and Big West Conference Championships on more than one occasion during 1996-2000.  In 2000, Coach Collier qualified for the European Championship, World University Games, and the NCAA Div. I Championship in the hammer throw.

During her athletic career Coach Collier held the Danish National Record and the Big West Conference Record in the Hammerthrow for several years in a row.  She was voted Danish Thrower of the year in 1998 and 1999 by the Danish Athletic Federation.

Coach Collier began coaching when she was 16 years old and is certified to coach youth athletes in hurdles, jumps, multi events, distance running and throwing events in Denmark. In addition, Coach Collier is a USA Track and Field Level I certified coach (All-events) and Level II certified coach in the throws.  She coached throwers at Ithaca College as a graduate assistant and coached and recruited throwers at Sam Houston State from 2002-2007.  At the division I level, she coached several athletes to be Conference Champions, Regional and NCAA Championships qualifiers.  At the Junior High level, Coach Collier has coached several HAPS District Champions.  At the High school level, she has coached several District Champions, Region Champions and medalists at the TAPPS 2A State High School Championship.
